Associate Elise Robinson AIA Honored by Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation

Wednesday, February 3rd, 2016
BGA Associate Elise Robinson, AIA has been recognized by the Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation for her work on the Savoy Elementary School in Washington, DC. The Built By Women (BxW) DC program honors built environments, either contemporary or historic, designed or constructed by women and located in the Washington, DC region. Of the 110 sites submitted for consideration, Savoy Elementary was selected as one of 35 outstanding projects to be featured at a March 19-20 exhibit hosted by the National Building Museum. The BWAF is working to change the culture of the building industry so that women’s work, in both contemporary practices and historical narratives, is acknowledged, respected and valued. BWAF achieves its mission by educating the public and transforming industry practice through collaborations with museums, professional organizations and other groups in the areas of architecture, design, landscape, engineering, technology, real estate and construction.
